Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

Is this method really different?

Yes, I have searched the internet to see if any other courses use this method and they don't. Once you have learned the method you will wonder why people stick to the conventional ways of learning blues lead guitar.

Can I use the BluesBlocks for any other type of music?

Yes, it can be applied to rock and country music as well as the blues. I prefer to teach it through blues as that is my area of interest.

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts as soon as you get access and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

How long do I have access to the course?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

So, no scales to learn or notes to study?

No, just two simple patterns!

What if I already know pentatonic scales?

Great! That's where I was. This method accesses, connects and expands them. Because you approach them in a different way you will be pushed out of your current playing habits and you will now have an extra toolkit to play with.

Do I have to learn all of the notes on the guitar?

No, but so long as you know the notes on the E string you will be fine..... and I'll show you a way to remember them.

Is this course is for Major and minor blues?

Yes, this course will allow you to solo over Major and minor progressions. But the art of mixing major and minor is a course in and of itself. As there has been so much interest in digging deeper in Major key soloing I have created a new course that covers this topic in depth.

Do I just forget everything else I learned?

No, combine your current knowledge with the BluesBlock method.

What if I am unhappy with the course?

I don't want you to be unhappy which is why I placed the entire course outline for you to review along with free lessons and a sampler course. In addition, my profile preview of who this course is designed for should also inform you as to whether this course is a good fit. So, take another good look through and if it doesn't seem like a good match then I would suggest this is not the course you are looking for but I wish you luck on your lead guitar journey and thanks for stopping by.
